Apparently, Shaquille O’Neal is keeping track of the uniform colors. He’s been in Orlando, a Laker, Miami and Cleveland. Green has never come up, until today.

When you think about the names: Shaq, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen and Paul Pierce. Wow. I’ll see your Miami super-trio and raise you a Shaq. But, I’m thinking that the Boston quad might just be past its prime.

LeBron James, DeWyane Wade and Chris Bosh are getting a lot of criticism in Miami for joining together to try to win. But, rest assured, the rest of the teams in the East have taken notice.  The Boston Celtics want to see if they can challenge the Miami superpower.  Shaq should fit right in with that roster.

Shaq’s signing today made the NBA that much more interesting.  Personally, I thought Shaq would end up in Miami.  the fact that he ended up with a primary rival adds to the drama.  Outside of Miami, the boos that the Heat will hear is deafening.  Pretty much everyone wants to see LeBron fail.  The Boston Celtics are building a pretty decent rival.
