[picappgallerysingle id="9627555"]I know. Ben Roethlisberger has been a good quarterback. And, he makes poor decisions off the field. Did he really think he would come back from his latest suspension and be handed the Steelers’ starting quarterback job?
On Tuesday, Pittsburgh Steelers coach Mike Tomlin officially said that Big Ben would not be handed the starting job when his four-game suspension expires. Should you have expected anything different? What if newly proclaimed starter Dennis Dixon leads the Steelers to a 4-0 start? Do you really sit him down?
Ben Roethlisberger screwed up in rural Georgia. He doesn’t know how to handle himself off the field, and the beginning of his 2010 season will pay the price. I’ll guess he’ll be starting week five. But, the Steelers couldn’t believe otherwise.
