Terrelle Pryor and Ohio State Proves NCAA Ruled by Dimwits

Several star Ohio State football players are in trouble.  Not enough trouble to miss the Sugar Bowl, mind you…but trouble enough.
The face behind the headlines is Buckeyes quarterback Terrelle Pryor.  But, those in trouble also include leading rusher “Boom” Herron, receiver DeVier Posey and offensive lineman Mike Adams.  The NCAA announced today that these players [...]

Do You Think the NCAA Wants a Wrigley Field Mulligan?

Just like on a summer day when the wind is blowing in off the lake, the ball will constantly be moving away from the right field wall at Wrigley Field when the Illinois Fighting Illini and the Northwestern Wildcats square off tomorrow.
In an unprecedented move, the two schools and the NCAA have decided to play [...]

Where in the World is Western State?

If you’re going to get completely slaughtered in a football game, you shouldn’t end the game with two points.

To me, the only way this makes [...]

Thanks A Lot, Kansas!

Kansas’ choke in Saturday’s game against Northern Iowa caused some heartburn through out office pools in America.  If ESPN’s bracket analysis is any indicator, 98% of us saw them winning that game.  And, 42% completely tore up their brackets knowing that we had the Jayhawks winning it all.  Heck, I had Kansas vs. Villanova in [...]
