Tiger Woods — One Year Later

Last year, Tiger Woods sat down to Thanksgiving dinner in some sort of utopian state.  Life was good.  He was married with children.  He was the best golfer in the world.  Hours later, everything changed.
Fast forward to today, and everything has changed.  He’s no longer married.  He shares custody of his children.  And, Lee Westwood [...]

Elin Nordegren — Single Today

The divorce of Elin Nordegren and Tiger Woods became final today.  Perhaps Tiger can start to golf again.  And, Elin?  I think she’ll be ok.

Doesn’t it make you wonder what Tiger was thinking?

Did Tiger Just Kiss the Ryder Cup Goodbye?

18-over for a tournament?  Tiger Woods has never played so poorly.  That’s no way to play yourself onto a team.
Tiger Woods remains distracted by his extra-curricular activities.  And, there’s virtually no sign of recovering his status as World’s best.  The entire golf world suffers.  Today’s winner was Hunter Mahan.

Tiger Woods has Ruined Golf

Golf, as we know it, is over.  Or, if you like “parity”, the disappearance of Tiger Woods has helped golf.  Depends how you look at it.
One of golf’s majors, the British Open, is being played this weekend.  And, wow, look at that leaderboard.  You have some dude named Louis Oosthuizen firmly atop the standings.  Four strokes ahead.  Paul Casey [...]

Tiger, Elin, and the Divorce

According to RadarOnline.com, the divorce is almost final.  Tiger Woods may be able to start putting behind him the terrible things he did to his wife.
According to reports, Elin will win the lottery.  Or much better.  $750 million to be specific.  I can’t remember a lottery ever coming close to that.  What could one buy with [...]

Tiger Woods, Golf’s Master Dimwit

Not withstanding all the “off the course” stuff, Tiger Woods missed the cut Friday at Quail Hollow.  This was only the sixth time that he has ever missed a PGA cut.
So, for all the negative that his personal life has brought, his golf career may have suffered.
Of course, Tiger Woods is probably a front-runner for 2010 [...]

Jim Nantz is a Dimwit

Jim Nantz wants to be part of the Tiger Woods story.  In fact, I would go as far as saying Jim Nantz DEMANDS to be part of the Tiger Woods story.
Last week, before the Masters got underway, cbsnews.com posted a story headlined “Nantz Sees a Changed Tiger”.
“(He was) very outgoing, just (engaged in) conversation about how [...]

And Finally, The Tiger Roared

As has been over-hyped everywhere, Tiger Woods spoke out today.  Was it sincere?  The debate will rage all over the place.
I could place Dimwit status on Tiger.  Or, I could place Dimwit status on the media.  Was this 13 1/2 minute statement by Tiger Woods enough to provoke live coverage from just about every network [...]
